Mary Shoemaker

Mary was born in 1812 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹   Mary's father was Daniel Jacob Shoemaker and her mother was Mary Easley.  Her paternal grandfather was John Shoemaker; her maternal grandparents were Robert Easley and Winifred Dixon. She had a brother and four sisters, named James, Elizabeth, Winifred, Nancy and Jane.  She was the youngest of the six children. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Thomas, John, William and Margaret.
