Elizabeth Shoemaker

Elizabeth was born in 1799 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹   Elizabeth's father was Daniel Jacob Shoemaker and her mother was Mary Easley.  Her paternal grandfather was John Shoemaker; her maternal grandparents were Robert Easley and Winifred Dixon. She had a brother and four sisters, named James, Winifred, Nancy, Jane and Mary.  She was the oldest of the six children. She had three half-brothers and a half-sister, named Thomas, John, William and Margaret.
