Mark Sappington 
Mark was born on March 17th, 1784 in Boonesborough, Madison Co., KY.1 Mark's father was John "Jack" Sappington and his mother was Jemima Fowler. His paternal grandparents were John Sappington and UNKNOWN Margaret. He had seven brothers and ten sisters, named Zephaniah, Mark, John, Hartley, Richard, Resin, Thomas, Margaret, Drusilla, Elizabeth, Sarah, Mary, Jemima, Patience, Rebecca, Nancy and Eleanor. He was the second oldest of the eighteen children. He had a half-brother named Mark. He died at the age of 68 on March 18th, 1852 in Chesterfield, St. Louis Co., MO.1 General Notes
