Hartley Sappington 
Hartley was born on June 11th, 1791 in Madison Co., KY.1 Hartley's father was John "Jack" Sappington and his mother was Jemima Fowler. His paternal grandparents were John Sappington and UNKNOWN Margaret. He had seven brothers and ten sisters, named Zephaniah, Mark, Mark, John, Richard, Resin, Thomas, Margaret, Drusilla, Elizabeth, Sarah, Mary, Jemima, Patience, Rebecca, Nancy and Eleanor. He was the eighth oldest of the eighteen children. He had a half-brother named Mark. He died at the age of 55 on March 9th, 1847.1 -
