Willana Wilma was born about 1766 in ,Botecourt, Virginia.1 Willana Wilma's father was Joshua Phipps and her mother was Hester Aston. Her paternal grandparents were Joseph Phipps and Elizabeth. She had a brother and three sisters, named William, Deborah, Sarah Erwin and Elizabeth. She was the oldest of the five children.
