Mary Ann McLain

Mary Ann was born in 1845 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.¹ Mary Ann's father was Clark McLain and her mother was Susannah. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas McLain and Elizabeth Doty. She had eight brothers and five sisters, named Thomas, Hiram, Jacob, Joseph M., George, John, Wade H., Luke, Rebecca, Elizabeth, Sarah, Deborah and Margaret. She was the seventh youngest of the fourteen children.
