Absalom Martin

Absalom was born in 1819 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Absalom's father was Thomas Martin and his mother was Elizabeth. He had six brothers and two sisters, named James, John, Thomas, Aaron, Paschal, Abijah, Mahala and Elizabeth.  He was the third youngest of the nine children. He had a half-brother named William.
