Abijah Martin

Abijah was born in 1824 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.¹ Abijah's father was Thomas Martin and his mother was Elizabeth. He had six brothers and two sisters, named James, John, Thomas, Aaron, Paschal, Absalom, Mahala and Elizabeth. He was the youngest of the nine children. He had a half-brother named William.
