Cornelius Or Nealy Klepper

Cornelius Or Nealy was born in 1843 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Cornelius Or Nealy's father was Peter Klepper and his mother was Mary Pilant.  His maternal grandfather was Joseph Pilant. He had two brothers and five sisters, named Joseph, Francis Marion, Susan, Phebe, Sarah, Martha Ellen and Barbara.  He was the third oldest of the eight children. He had three half-brothers and eight half-sisters, named Barnabus M., William, John M., Mary Or Polly, Nancy, Elizabeth, Jane, Katherine, Lourana, Susannah and Margaret.
