Clinton Klepper

Clinton was born in 1864 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Clinton's father was Nathan Klepper and his mother was Sarah Jane.  His paternal grandparents were Jacob Klepper and Mary Loudermilch. He had three brothers and seven sisters, named Isaac Shelby, William, Simeon, Sarah, Eliza Lisa, Mary Susan, Joan, Martha, Ornettie and Nancy.  He was the fourth oldest of the eleven children. He had three half-brothers and three half-sisters, named John M., A. Judson, Alvin, Augusta, Nancy and Millie.
