Millie Cates

Millie was born in 1872 in ,Wayne, Illinois.¹   Millie's father was Benjamin F. Cates and her mother was Sarah Jane. She had three brothers and two sisters, named John M., A. Judson, Alvin, Augusta and Nancy.  She was the youngest of the six children. She had four half-brothers and seven half-sisters, named Isaac Shelby, Clinton, William, Simeon, Sarah, Eliza Lisa, Mary Susan, Joan, Martha, Ornettie and Nancy.
