Susan Gilliam 
Susan was born in 1843 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.1 Susan's father was John Gilliam and her mother was Mary. Her paternal grandfather was Hinchea Gilliam. She had six brothers and two sisters, named James, Hinchea, Lemuel, Wiley, John A., Benjamin, Nancy and Sarah. She was the second youngest of the nine children.
