Benjamin Gilliam

Benjamin was born in 1848 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Benjamin's father was John Gilliam and his mother was Mary.  His paternal grandfather was Hinchea Gilliam. He had five brothers and three sisters, named James, Hinchea, Lemuel, Wiley, John A., Nancy, Sarah and Susan.  He was the youngest of the nine children.
