Hinchea Gilliam

Hinchea was born in 1827 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.¹ Hinchea's father was John Gilliam and his mother was Mary. His paternal grandfather was Hinchea Gilliam. He had five brothers and three sisters, named James, Lemuel, Wiley, John A., Benjamin, Nancy, Sarah and Susan. He was the second oldest of the nine children.
