Sarah Gilliam

Sarah was born in 1841 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.¹   Sarah's father was John Gilliam and her mother was Mary.  Her paternal grandfather was Hinchea Gilliam. She had six brothers and two sisters, named James, Hinchea, Lemuel, Wiley, John A., Benjamin, Nancy and Susan.  She was the third youngest of the nine children.
