James Dugger George

James Dugger was born in 1816 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.¹   James Dugger's father was James Jordan George and his mother was Nancy Dugger.  His paternal grandparents were James George and Elizabeth Nodan; his maternal grandparents were Julius Caesar Dugger and Mary Hall. He had two brothers and five sisters, named William Jordan, John H., Mary, Edna, Charlotte, Sarah D. and Margaret.  He was the fourth youngest of the eight children. He had two half-brothers and five half-sisters, named Charles Nodan, Hugh, Sarah, Elizabeth, Nancy, Frances and Eliza.  He died before December 1850 in Washington County, Virginia.¹
