Charles Nodan George 
Charles Nodan was born on November 21st, 1791 in Sullivan County, Tennessee.1 Charles Nodan's father was James Jordan George and his mother was Elizabeth Pemberton. His paternal grandparents were James George and Elizabeth Nodan; his maternal grandparents were John Pemberton and Elizabeth Stanton. He had a brother and five sisters, named Hugh, Sarah, Elizabeth, Nancy, Frances and Eliza. He was the second oldest of the seven children. He had three half-brothers and five half-sisters, named James Dugger, William Jordan, John H., Mary, Edna, Charlotte, Sarah D. and Margaret. He died at the age of 77 on May 12th, 1869 in Cherokee County, North Carolina.1 -
