Rome Homer Gardner

Rome Homer was born in 1897 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹ Rome Homer's father was Jacob Tillman Gardner and his mother was Hila Luster. His paternal grandparents were James Gardner and Anna Myers. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Arthur E., Willie H., Lowery Rexall, Homer Cecil, John Newton, James Rolla, Joseph Jacob, Martha E., Della Grace, Mary Ethel and Minnie Bell. He was the fifth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 9 in 1906.¹
