Homer Cecil Gardner

Homer Cecil was born in 1894 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.¹ Homer Cecil's father was Jacob Tillman Gardner and his mother was Hila Luster. His paternal grandparents were James Gardner and Anna Myers. He had seven brothers and four sisters, named Arthur E., Willie H., Lowery Rexall, Rome Homer, John Newton, James Rolla, Joseph Jacob, Martha E., Della Grace, Mary Ethel and Minnie Bell. He was the sixth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 47 in 1941.¹
