Susan Amanda was born on October 30th, 1830 in Hawkins County, TN.1 Susan Amanda's father was William Dykes and her mother was Jennie Gallemore. Her paternal grandparents were William Dykes and Susannah Lankford. She had three brothers and eight sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Andrew Jackson, John, Clabourn, Sarah, Mahala, Anna, Elizabeth, Dykes, Molly, Martha, Dykes and Dykes. She was the third youngest of the thirteen children. She died at the age of 56 on November 7th, 1886 in Phelps Co., MO.1 -
