Dykes

Dykes was born about 1820.¹ Dykes' father was William Dykes and her mother was Jennie Gallemore. Her paternal grandparents were William Dykes and Susannah Lankford. She had three brothers and eight sisters, and also a sibling of unknown gender, named Andrew Jackson, John, Clabourn, Sarah, Mahala, Anna, Elizabeth, Molly, Martha, Susan Amanda, Dykes and Dykes. She was the sixth oldest of the thirteen children.
