Sarah Elizabeth Cox 
Sarah Elizabeth was born in 1887 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.1 Sarah Elizabeth's father was James Hiram Cox and her mother was Mary W. Rutledge. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Cox and Barbara Hammond; her maternal grandparents were Emanuel Rutledge and Sarah Kate Wilson. She had six brothers and two sisters, named William Samuel, Emanuel, John Robert, Thomas Elbert, Charles Richard, James B., Laura C. and Mary Lillie. She was the third youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 83 in 1970.1 -
