Laura C. Cox 
Laura C. was born in 1889 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.1 Laura C.'s father was James Hiram Cox and her mother was Mary W. Rutledge. Her paternal grandparents were Samuel Cox and Barbara Hammond; her maternal grandparents were Emanuel Rutledge and Sarah Kate Wilson. She had six brothers and two sisters, named William Samuel, Emanuel, John Robert, Thomas Elbert, Charles Richard, James B., Sarah Elizabeth and Mary Lillie. She was the second youngest of the nine children. She died at the age of 20 in 1909.1 -
