Joshua Cox

Joshua was born on February 4th, 1792 in Tennessee.¹   Joshua's father was Edward Cox and his mother was Sarah Meredith.  His paternal grandfather was John Cox. He had six brothers and three sisters, named Thomas, Meredith, Jacob, Abraham, Samuel, John, Elizabeth, Jane and Catherine.  He was the fourth oldest of the ten children.
