Katherine Conyers 
Katherine was born about 1488 in Of Hornby, Yorks., England.1 Katherine's father was Richard Conyers and her mother was Elizabeth Claxton. Her paternal grandparents were John Conyers and Margaret Darcy; her maternal grandparents were Robert Claxton and Anne Stapleton. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Richard, Robert, Percival, Janet, Anna, Margery and Margaret. She was the second youngest of the eight children.-
