Janet Conyers 
Janet was born about 1479 in Of Hornby, Yorks., England.1 Janet's father was Richard Conyers and her mother was Elizabeth Claxton. Her paternal grandparents were John Conyers and Margaret Darcy; her maternal grandparents were Robert Claxton and Anne Stapleton. She had three brothers and four sisters, named Richard, Robert, Percival, Anna, Margery, Katherine and Margaret. She was the third oldest of the eight children.1 -
