His paternal grandparents were John Conyers and Margaret St. Quintin; his maternal grandfather was Robert Rylleston. He had nine brothers and seven sisters, named Christopher, George, Jacob, Ralph, Richard, Robert, Roger, Thomas, William, Elizabeth, Isabel, Joan, Katherine, Margaret, Margery and Sibilla. He had four half-brothers and two half-sisters, named Bryan, Conan, Henry, Nicholas, Alice and Margaret.1 -
