Essie Combest 
Essie was born on February 18th, 1907.1 Essie's father was Lewis Combest and her mother was Mary A. Edlen. Her paternal grandparents were John Wiley Combest and Susan E. Gosser; her maternal grandparents were Benjamin Edlen and Fidelhea \\. She had three brothers and five sisters, named J.A. Shuttleworth, John Wylie, Paul, Thelma, Beatrice, Bessie, Novidia and Bobbie. She died at the age of 38 in 1945.1 -
