Charles Franklin Combest 
Charles Franklin was born on September 20th, 1887 in Ransom, Trego County, Kansas.1 Charles Franklin's father was Christopher Columbus Combest and his mother was Laura Maxwell Carr. His paternal grandparents were Samuel James Combest and Adaline Read. He had two brothers and a sister, named Joseph Clifford, Paul Nay and Lulu Bertha. He was the oldest of the four children. He had a half-brother and a half-sister, named James Edward and Josie Adaline. He died at the age of 80 on June 1st, 1968 in Settler, Alberta, Canada.1 -
