Alexander Combest 
Alexander was born on June 13th, 1856 in Pulaski County, Kentucky.1 Alexander's father was Archibald Combest and his mother was Clarissa M. Cook. His paternal grandparents were John Combest and Jane Spencer. He had four brothers and a sister, named John, William S., Ewell Smith, Thomas and Lizzie. He was the second oldest of the six children. He had two half-sisters named Melviney and Nancy.1 -
