Alexander Combest 
Alexander was born about 1870.1 Alexander's father was Alexander Combest and his mother was Martha Ann Roy. His paternal grandparents were John Combest and Jane Spencer; his maternal grandparents were William Roy and Julianna Gosser. He had five brothers and two sisters, named John W., James C., Raleigh Jefferson, Archibald, Franklin, Julia Ann and Mary J.. He was the youngest of the eight children.1 General Notes
