Ann R. Clay

Ann R. was born in 1839 in ,Bourbon, Kentucky.¹ Ann R.'s father was Henry Clay and her mother was Mary T. Chadwell. Her paternal grandparents were Henry Clay and Margaret Helm; her maternal grandparents were George Chadwell and Alice. She had two brothers and two sisters, named George, John Walker, Sarah E. and Lettitia. She was the second oldest of the five children. She had five half-brothers and two half-sisters, and also a half-sibling of unknown gender, named Joseph, George, John W., Samuel Scott, Joseph H., Letitia, Margaret H. and Clay.
