Susan Childress

Susan was born in 1848 in ,Bourbon, Kentucky.¹   Susan's father was Philip G. Childress and her mother was Amanda Wheatley.  Her paternal grandfather was John Childress; her maternal grandfather was Daniel Wheatley. She had two brothers and a sister, named James, John and Caroline.  She was the oldest of the four children.
