John Charles 
John was born in 1789 in ,Henry, Virginia.1 John's father was James J. Charles and his mother was Tabitha Senter. His paternal grandparents were James Charles and Sarah; his maternal grandparents were Stephen Senter and Susannah Tandy. He had six brothers and five sisters, named James, Oliver, Hiram, Stephen K., Joel, Solomon, Cynthia, Susannah, Nancy, Elizabeth and Tabitha. He was the fourth youngest of the twelve children. He died about 1861 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.1 -
