James Charles 
James was born on February 15th, 1777 in ,Henry, Virginia.1 James' father was James J. Charles and his mother was Tabitha Senter. His paternal grandparents were James Charles and Sarah; his maternal grandparents were Stephen Senter and Susannah Tandy. He had six brothers and five sisters, named Oliver, Hiram, Stephen K., John, Joel, Solomon, Cynthia, Susannah, Nancy, Elizabeth and Tabitha. He was the second oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 83 on June 12th, 1860 in ,Hawkins, Tennessee.1 -
