John B. Bowery

John B. was born on March 21st, 1863 in Tennessee.¹   John B.'s father was Samuel Bowery and his mother was Frances Rhea Rogers.  His paternal grandparents were Conrad Russell Bowery and Sarah Shipley; his maternal grandparents were David Rogers and Lydia Sampson. He had six brothers and two sisters, named George James, David Conrad, Thomas A., William, Samuel Miller, Wesley D., Martha Amanda and Emeline.  He was the second oldest of the nine children.  He died at the age of 80 on May 30th, 1943.¹
