Emeline Bowery

Emeline was born on September 7th, 1874 in Tennessee.¹   Emeline's father was Samuel Bowery and her mother was Frances Rhea Rogers.  Her paternal grandparents were Conrad Russell Bowery and Sarah Shipley; her maternal grandparents were David Rogers and Lydia Sampson. She had seven brothers and a sister, named George James, John B., David Conrad, Thomas A., William, Samuel Miller, Wesley D. and Martha Amanda.  She was the third youngest of the nine children.
