Mariah Elizabeth Akard 
Mariah Elizabeth was born in 1771 in Pennsylvania.1 Mariah Elizabeth's father was Jacob Aeckard and her mother was Susanna Margaretha Latture. Her maternal grandparents were Johannes Hermannus Latture and Catherine Barbara Spickler. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Frederick Douglas, Jacob, John, Adam, Mary and Catherine. She died at the age of 74 in 1845.1
