Catherine Akard 
Catherine was born in Pennsylvania.1 Catherine's father was Jacob Aeckard and her mother was Susanna Margaretha Latture. Her maternal grandparents were Johannes Hermannus Latture and Catherine Barbara Spickler. She had four brothers and two sisters, named Frederick Douglas, Jacob, John, Adam, Mariah Elizabeth and Mary. She died in 1850.1
