Hester Ann Acton 
Hester Ann was born on May 24th, 1820 in Dixon Twp, Preble, OH.1 Hester Ann's father was James Acton and her mother was Elizabeth Tosh. Her paternal grandparents were John Acton and Hester (Hettie) Ward; her maternal grandparents were James Tosh and Anne Broadwater. She had three brothers and two sisters, named John William, Weston A, James Tosh, Amelia Jane and Nancy D.. She was the third oldest of the six children. She died at the age of 62 on August 3rd, 1882 in Wapallo Co., Iowa.1 -
