Charles A was born on February 21st, 1849 in Eldon, Wapello IA.1 Charles A's father was James Tosh Acton and his mother was Margaret McDivitt. His paternal grandparents were James Acton and Elizabeth Tosh. He had five brothers and three sisters, named Andrew H., Lorenzo Rowley, Scott, William Luther, Irvin L, Elzora, Mariah and Fanny. He was the oldest of the nine children. He died at the age of 75 on January 11th, 1925 in Britton OK.1 -
