James Skelton 
James was born on February 25th, 1806 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. James' father was John Skelton and his mother was Elizabeth Roberts. His paternal grandparents were Skelton and Ann; his maternal grandparents were Joseph Roberts and Elizabeth Clemmons. He had seven brothers and two sisters, named Joseph, Alexander, John, William, Thomas, Reuben, Abraham Carter, Nancy and Mary Elizabeth. He was the fourth youngest of the ten children. He died at the age of 87 on April 9th, 1893 in , Barry, Missouri.-
