James Maurice Shipley 
James Maurice was born on March 16th, 1892. James Maurice's father was Enoch Shipley and his mother was Mary Ellen Carter. His paternal grandparents were Nathan Roller Shipley and Mary Ann Fansler; his maternal grandparents were James Harmon Carter and Mary Johanna Brown. He had nine brothers and two sisters, named John Guy, Ernest Alvin, Wilmer Ivan, Thomas Henry, Nathan Miller, George Edward, Floyd Lynn, Enoch Howard, Eugene Franklin, Hattie Brown and Mary Ann. He was the second oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 82 on August 27th, 1974.-
