Ernest Alvin Shipley 
Ernest Alvin was born on September 15th, 1896. Ernest Alvin's father was Enoch Shipley and his mother was Mary Ellen Carter. His paternal grandparents were Nathan Roller Shipley and Mary Ann Fansler; his maternal grandparents were James Harmon Carter and Mary Johanna Brown. He had nine brothers and two sisters, named James Maurice, John Guy, Wilmer Ivan, Thomas Henry, Nathan Miller, George Edward, Floyd Lynn, Enoch Howard, Eugene Franklin, Hattie Brown and Mary Ann. He was the fifth oldest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 62 on November 16th, 1958.-
