George Edward Shipley 
George Edward was born on December 13th, 1908. George Edward's father was Enoch Shipley and his mother was Mary Ellen Carter. His paternal grandparents were Nathan Roller Shipley and Mary Ann Fansler; his maternal grandparents were James Harmon Carter and Mary Johanna Brown. He had nine brothers and two sisters, named James Maurice, John Guy, Ernest Alvin, Wilmer Ivan, Thomas Henry, Nathan Miller, Floyd Lynn, Enoch Howard, Eugene Franklin, Hattie Brown and Mary Ann. He was the fourth youngest of the twelve children. He died at the age of 62 on March 7th, 1971.-
