James Rogers 
James was born on January 20th, 1788 in , Hawkins, Tennessee. James' father was Joseph Rogers and his mother was Mary Amis. His paternal grandparents were James Rogers and Elizabeth Brown; his maternal grandparents were Thomas Amis and Alice Gale. He had four brothers and nine sisters, named John Alexander, Thomas Amis, Robert, Joseph, Eliza M., Rachel, Frances Grantham, Margaret E., Lucy, Alice Gale, Louisiana N., Malinda and Nancy F.. He was the oldest of the fourteen children. He died at the age of 1 on August 12th, 1789 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.-
