William Mowell

William was born in 1852 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.  William's father was Jacob Mowell and his mother was Amanda.  His paternal grandfather was Mowell. He had ten brothers and a sister, named Benjamin M., Richard, Isaac, James, John, Anderson, Henry, Jacob, Thomas, Joseph and Katherine.  He was the third youngest of the twelve children.
