Richard Mowell

Richard was born in 1836 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.  Richard's father was Jacob Mowell and his mother was Amanda.  His paternal grandfather was Mowell. He had ten brothers and a sister, named Benjamin M., Isaac, James, John, Anderson, Henry, Jacob, William, Thomas, Joseph and Katherine.  He was the third oldest of the twelve children.
