James Mowell

James was born in 1842 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee.  James' father was Jacob Mowell and his mother was Amanda.  His paternal grandfather was Mowell. He had ten brothers and a sister, named Benjamin M., Richard, Isaac, John, Anderson, Henry, Jacob, William, Thomas, Joseph and Katherine.  He was the fifth oldest of the twelve children.  He died before 1880 in , Hawkins, Tennessee.
