Stephen McLain 
Stephen was born in 1836 in Of, Hawkins, Tennessee. Stephen's father was Joseph McLain and his mother was Cassandra. His paternal grandparents were Thomas McLain and Elizabeth Doty. He had two brothers and four sisters, named William, Joseph, Cassandra, Nancy, Elizabeth and Mary. He was the youngest of the seven children.
